One of the three southern centers of the network, One World Africa has centred its attention on building local knowledge for development, enabling access to IT, supporting policy advocacy, and providing capacity building. OneWorld Africa steadily continues to provide voices that represent the underprivileged communities through the internet, radio and mobile phones.

The event, organized by the Brussels office of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), together with Global Africa and African Diaspora Network in Europe (ADNE), took place during the opening of the ACP-EU Joint Parliamentary Assembly.
