U emisiji Korak na TV Hajatu, 27.06.06, u 21 h, Lidija Korać, članica Centralne izborne komisije BiH , dozvolila je sebi, da izmedju ostalih mizoginih izjava, kae i sljedeće: ako nisu stvorile obitelj, onda je to neuspjeh. S obzirom da se radi o veoma istaknutoj javnoj ličnosti, čije poruke preko medija imaju specifičnu teinu, upozoravamo da je riječ o javnoj promociji diskriminatorskih i seksističkih stavova o ulozi ene i njenoj primarnoj zadaći u drutvu.

In compliance with the Cooperation Agreement concluded with the German Government, the BH Women Initiative (BHWI) Foundation announces the opening of public competition for financing of projects under the Economic Empowerment and Fight against Women Poverty Programme. The Competition is directed at interventions aimed at greater inclusion of women in labour, employment and self-employment in the country.

U nedjelju i ponedjeljak u Sarajevu je odrano 13. zasjedanje Igmanske inicijative, regionalnog foruma koji okuplja preko 140 nevladinih organizacija iz Bosne i Hercegovine, Crne Gore, Hrvatske i Srbije. Kako su prenijeli mediji, na skupu je među ostalim dogovoreno pokretanje projekta uzajamnog medijskog izvjetavanja o stanju u navedenim zemljama kako bi ojačalo međusobno razumijevanje, komunikacija i svijest o potrebi suradnje zemalja bive Jugoslavije.

On the night of Thursday, June 13, ethnic riots and turmoil erupted in Mostar after the end of the Croatia-Brazil football match, played during the 2006 World Cup in Germany. One person suffered serious injury from a gun shot. Six members of the Police were also injured during the intervention that resulted in 26 arrests.
