U Kotoru je juce odrzan okrugli sto na temu “Rodna ravnopravnost i obrazovanje zena”, na kojem su ucestvovali ljudi na rukovodecim mjestima i strucnjaci iz oblasti obrazovanja. Organizator je Centar za zensko i mirovno obrazovanje “Anima” iz Kotora, a rijec je o seriji okruglih stolova koji se odrzavaju u Crnoj Gori u cilju formiranja Nacionalnog akcionog plana za postizanje rodne ravnopravnosti zena u Crnoj Gori.

Radosavljevic zvani Skljoca iz Bara uhapsen je u subotu 25. juna zbog sumnje da je pocinio krivicno djelo “trgovina ljudima”, te da je vise od mjesec dana trafikovao maloljetnu K.R. iz Srbije. Ovo je drugo hapsenje Radosavljevica u nepuna tri mjeseca, zbog istog krivicnog djela. Krajem marta protiv njega je podnijeta krivicna prijava zbog sumnje da je trafikovao S.M. takodje iz Srbije.

In 2002, Pakistani woman Mukhtaran Bibi--also known as Mukhtaran Mai--was gang raped on her village elders' orders. The men convicted in her case have since been released. As the country's Supreme Court finally takes up her case, Amnesty asks you to take action and encourage Pakistan to protect women's rights.

It took some persuasion to get the women attending a rape-trauma counseling meeting to agree to start a literacy program. But when the program debuted in Bunia, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, over 200 women enrolled, and now the women say they stand up for their rights, and by doing so, can protect other women from violence in the future.

The Gender Equality Office was opened today in Probishtip, as a support to the Gender Equality Commission of the Local government council.
