Alla sua terza edizione, l�evento si propone come veicolo di sensibilizzazione anche politica sui temi della sostenibilit�. �Alla Fortezza - sostiene Ugo Biggeri, presidente della Fondazione Culturale Responsabilit� Etica Onlus - si dar� visibilit� ad argomenti di cui non si sta parlando in questa campagna elettorale; �materia� su cui non si fa �politica�, n� politiche. Onu: coste mediterranee, nel 2025 oltre il 50% cementificato

03/31/2006 Presentato oggi a Park Life da Unep/Map (Programma Ambiente Mediterraneo dell�Onu) e Legambiente il Dossier sullo stato di salute delle coste del Mediterraneo. La presentazione del dossier ha praticamente inaugurato Park Life, secondo salone e dei parchi e del vivere naturale organizzato da Legambiente, Federparchi, Compagnia dei Parchi e Fiera di Roma fino a domenica prossima presso la Fiera di Roma. 20.000 chilometri di coste rocciose e sabbiose, di zone umide, di estuari, delta e stagni costieri sono stati cancellati dal Mar Mediterraneo, su 46.000 complessivi. Il cemento sottrae quindi alla natura il 40% dei litorali, delicate zone di transizione tra mare e terra, dove vive il 7% di tutte le specie marine mondiali. Ma questa cifra � destinata a crescere: entro il 2025 oltre il 50% delle coste mediterranee sar� cementificato. � la previsione del Dossier sullo stato dei litorali del Mediterraneo, elaborato dal Plan Bleu dell�Unep/Map.

Dal Piemonte alla Sicilia sono molte le stazioni e i treni su cui sono stati organizzati presidi ed � stato distribuito materiale informativo a cittadini, pendolari e lavoratori delle ferrovie per chiedere il potenziamento del servizio pubblico e ottenere nuovi treni e treni piu' puntuali, sicuri e affidabili. ''La questione ferroviaria - ha dichiarato Roberto Della Seta presidente di Legambiente - � una questione nazionale. Invece di investire in grandi opere bisognerebbe dare la priorit� ad interventi di ammodernamento della rete nazionale nelle tratte pi� frequentate".

Ambiente: Ciampi rinvia alle Camere la legge delega

03/22/2006 Il presidente della Repubblica ha rinviato al Parlamento il decreto legislativo che attua la legge delega in materia ambientale. La legge delega riorganizza le procedure per la valutazione ambientale strategica (Vas), per la valutazione di impatto ambientale (Via) e per l'autorizzazione ambientale integrata (Ippc). Il provvedimento inoltre detta norme sulla difesa del suolo, la lotta alla desertificazione, la tutela delle acque dall'inquinamento e la gestione delle risorse idriche, la gestione dei rifiuti e bonifiche, la tutela dell'aria e la riduzione delle emissioni in atmosfera, nonch� sul danno ambientale. �� il funerale della Delega ambientale� - ha commentato Francesco Ferrante, direttore generale di Legambiente. �Il Presidente della Repubblica � commenta Ferrante � ha ascoltato gli accorati appelli di cittadini, associazioni ambientaliste e enti locali�. La legge delega sull'ambiente era stata definita dalle associazioni ambientaliste una vergogna perch� apre una deregulation senza limiti sui rifiuti, reintroduceva la tassa rifiuti ed la totale disincentivazione della raccolta differenziata, facendo marcia rispetto agli obiettivi del Decreto Ronchi, anche grazie al passaggio al regime di volontariet� dei consorzi.
